We Dare You: Colour Test

Are you seeing this, bro?

Colour blindness is more common than you think. One in 255 women and 1 in 12 men have some degree of colour vision deficiency. It’s not a black and white thing, it’s the ability to see the differences in subtle shades. We found a colour online challenge designed by X-Rite¬†that scores your shade recognition and pinpoints which colours give you more hassle than others.

A perfect score is zero and you can compare your results with your demographic. We tested it out and some of us have much better hue discrimination than others. Some of us are claiming that it was late at night and we were sleepy.

Try out X-Rite’s online colour challenge below (after the first image that weeds out the truly colour blind) and post your results. Whoever has the lowest score wins a Hell’s Angels calendar from 2005.
