Introducing: Adrienne Crossman, Digital Artist-in-Residence

By Rachel MacFarlane · On June 13, 2016

We are pleased to present Adrienne Crossman as our fifth Digital Artist-in-Residence. We’ve formally featured Adrienne as a studio visit and we’re so excited to see the work that comes out of the digital residency!

Adrienne Crossman is an artist, educator and curator based in Toronto. She holds a BFA in Integrated Media and a Minor in Digital and Media Studies from OCAD University. She has completed residencies in Syracuse, NY and Montréal, QC and will be pursuing an MFA in Studio Art this Fall at the University of Windsor. Her practice involves the manipulation and deconstruction of digital media and popular culture in order to create new artifacts through formal re-interpretations. Crossman’s work is concerned with the exploration of non-normative and non-binary spaces, while attempting to locate queer sensibilities in the everyday.

Follow Adrienne’s work in the digital residency section of the site, HERE or click here to see the first post.
