We are pleased to present Cait Carouge as our ninth Digital Artist-in-Residence. She will be making new work for a month and posting it on the site.
Cait Carouge lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Her work explores slippery spaces of in-between. Moments of being looked at or of looking; a body as form or performer; familiar objects or images that appear and then collapse. Fragments of places that elude if not to a physical space then a psychic one, something that exists through memory or desire. She completed undergraduate work at Boston University and Maryland Institute College of Art, and received her MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2014. Her work has been shown both locally and nationally.
Follow Cait’s work in the digital residency section of the site, here or click here to see the first post. We’re very excited to see what digital work she creates for the format of our site!
